As for the issue above let BG pay 75% of net value of the ore, which would be a fair deal for BG. However do not let the DR government handle either the control of the expences, the ore shipped or the money involved. Let an independent and trustworthy entity handle it.

Even though dore, I would think the data including, place of origin, a serial number, date, and gross weight be stamped on to the dore bars. Then there should be a Dominican Customs stamp as well. I can not see from this photo what is stamped or felt tiped at end of bar in foreground but not much data there.

I'd like to know how they intend to "to establish their proportion of gold to silver" If the metals are mixed in the bars I can't see a way for them to do this. It does look as though this is a good way for Barrick to hide the quantity of gold they are sending by mixing it with silver and declaring a larger quantity of the lower value metal.

I don't see any logical reason for mixing the two metals in the first place, unless the refining at the mine results in the two being mixed at that point, and they don't have the necessary facilities to separate them?
