Santo Domingo.- The National Drugs Control Agency (DNCD) confirmed the extradition to the United States of its former Chief Operations Officer Francisco Hiraldo Guerrero, .

DNCD spokesman Roberto Lebron said Hiraldo Guerrero will face drug related charges in the case of the international network headed by former Army captain Quirino Paulino and other drug cartels.

According Lebron, Hiraldo Guerrero decided to go voluntarily to the United States after being asked by that nation. The flight that took him to New York departed at 1:45 pm on Friday from Las Americas International Airport (AILA).

The DNCD had revealed that millions worth of bank accounts and several of Hiraldo's properties have been confiscated.

This says a lot the chief operations officer for the DNCD is behind drug trafficking. This shows our government officials are so corrupt this man could not be convicted in our country where he committed these crimes. We should be ashamed.

"voluntarily" - probably a CIA piece of shit.
They're probably going to decide, together, who they will sacrifice, to make it look like everybody is doing something about the drug dealing in RD.
Nice try US.

This is just a thought. Imagine if ALL the alleged corrupt government officials, including military types, of the RD were extradited to the US; the group would have a large enough quorum to conduct government business and hold military exercises beyond Dominican shores.

What a thought !
