Santo Domingo.- Numerous reporters of  United Kingdom media are heading to the Dominican Republic on reports  that teen couple Edward Bunyan and Indira Gainiyev, who attend an upscale boarding school flew to the Caribbean country and are considered “missing.”

At least five leading media outlets from England have contacted Dominican Today to assist in reporting the case of 16-year olds, as conflicting reports have only added to the mystery to the story of their alleged flight, and which has placed it on Google News’ top searches when ‘Dominican Republic’ is queried.

Telegraph.co.uk, BBC News, Daily Mail, Metro and The Guardian are just some of the outlets covering the story of the teen couple who attend a Catholic school in Lancashire, but who flew to the Dominican Republic.

Any information on their whereabout is greatly appreciated:305 799 1015, and 809 350 9945.

This is what happens when you allow teenagers to go off by themselves to another country. I hope they find the kids, but at the end of the day this is just a bad parenting decision.

They'll be broke in less than a week, assaulted and robbed, and looking for the nearest British Consulate s to pay for their flight home. I hope they have some experience in the Caribbean or the DR, so that they don't get badly hurt.

nobody let them go off on their own. this is not a parenting decision. the kids fled to the DR, and are considered missing persons by British police.

these kids go to a prestigious boarding school in England, that costs 30,000 pounds sterling per year. they are in the DR with daddy's credit card. they are not going to go broke, and get into desperate situations. they are probably holed up at some high end AI hotel in Cabarete, hanging out with surfer dudes from Australia. no need to panic.

Wow I didn't know that you were allow to enter this country on your own unless your were a least 18theen years old of age or with someone that has parental guardian on you. This doesn't sounds right. Just as we expected that will started to happen after the court ruling, that countries such as the USA, CANADA, FRANCE AND ENGLAND will be publishing bad news about this country. Yesterday we heard about the so raped of two young Canadian girls and now two underage British kids are missing. Why would any parents allow their 16theen year old kids to travel to a foreign country specially a country that does not speaks their language. We want to hear the full story and not just bits and pieces of it. What prompted these two kids to come here on their own? please answer this question and then we can talk more about the issue.

Here is another story with holes in them but I'm not gonna blame or hold DT responsible for not filling in the gaps. But here is my beef. If these two actually traveled to the DR as it is assumed, don't the airlines keep the passenger manifest?

And did they not have to buy a tourist card upon arrival? Unless they traveled with false docs which is highly unlikely, I am sure they left a paper trail which can easily trace their approximate whereabouts. I mean these are prep school teens, not a couple sophisticated criminal fugitives who in the end always manage to get caught anyway.

Nevertheless, if all of our assumptions are correct, with the media attention, why have they not yet been spotted in public? It is interesting though that they actually selected the DR for their escapade. But like dread said, I would not really worry too much. They are smart but unwise teens who just wanted to fulfill their fantasy far away from school and home. A good story for the future grankids

First I do not know where you got the idea that the "parents allow their 16th year old kids to travel to a foreign country." Did you not understand that the two simply ran away? Kids when romantically involved do this all the time, particularly when parents are oppose to the relationship. But at this point we don't know that. And with regards to whether or not they speak the language, well you must remember they were getting an elite European education, language is always a given and normal for people to speak multiple languages. I know from reading other articles that the boy had dual citizenship and although with a British surname, he was born in Spain and the girl is from Kazakhstan.

danny00 Graj00 dumb dumb-

When you respond to any of my posts, please make reference to what, where and what exactly did I say which motivated you to either agree or dispute what I said. Because as usual, I sure as hell don't know what you are talking about. You communicate a lot of gibberish and nonsense and simply go on and on saying really nothing. What is your point anyway? You write just like a drunk man, with incoherent and uncoordinated thoughts. You must either go to school to learn how to write or get off that stuff you are drinking or smoking. And if it is neither of the two, then it must be because you are Haitian and just cant' help yourself. And if that is the case, then why don't you put away that fishing pole and get yourself a Machete and head on to the sugar cane fields where you belong and down a few stalks. You will be much more useful and productive instead of wasting your time on the DT forum where people just think you are a crazy Haitian.

Guillermone, from what I've seen in this site, Danny is a DR-hating Haitian who will stop at nothing to criticize our nation, no matter what is posted. Must be hard to see our progress and nothing good happening on the western side of the island. Poor fellow.

You know you are right, he is a "poor fellow." I know he has this strong desire to fight and argue, but he just does not know how. He says so many dumb, stupid and ridiculous remarks that I sometimes don't know what to do with him, to feel sorry or punch him in the face, but I can't get myself around to do it. Its almost like trying to beat up on a helpless drunk man............what is the point. danny00 Graj00 is the perfect example of what's the use. So I think I will just ignore and leave the little man alone to vent.

These are no ordinary kids. The fees per head are in the region of $50,000 per head at their school which is for rich Catholic families. They possess unlimited credit cards so no problem finding them as has happened. These are only rich kids having a bit of fun.
