Santo Domingo.- Former Vatican envoy to the Dominican Republic, Jozef Wesolowski, charged with sex crimes against several boys will face criminal prosecution by the Vatican Court, said Papacy representative to the UN Monsignor Silvano Tomasi on Thursday.

The investigation, said Tomasi, is underway and the Polish prelate will be tried "with the severity he deserves," reports Vatican Insider, of the daily La Stampa.

Responding to the UN expert on the issue of non-extradition, Tomasi noted that, in adherence to the new rules approved by Pope Francis, Wesolowski, as a diplomat of the Holy See will be prosecuted in the Vatican, and not extradited.

Wesolowski, who was whisked out of the Dominican Republic August  21, is at the center of two investigations, in the Caribbean nation as well as in his homeland.

Dominican Republic’s Justice Ministry had sent the results of the probe into the prelate’s alleged crimes to the Vatican.

The new operating culture brought in with the new pope as exampled by his removing many conservative cardinals from positions of influence. It is sending a message he is not putting up with the status quo. That being said, he has to send a signal to the clergy the church is no longer going to shelter priests having sexual perversions. It is not uncommon for those having these peversions seek the priesthood as a tool to obtain access to the innocents, all knowing the church would cover their activities.

In light of what is transpiring with the former nuncio the church needs to convery it will deal harshly with him to get its message across.

The Vatican is as guilty as the pervert priest. This is a travesty. This pervert should be sent back to DR to be prosecuted and jailed here.

If this happens DR should never allow our citizens to be extradited anywhere.

He is disgusting and the Vatican is disgusting.

Most ignore that it was the cardinal that investigated, and unmasked the pedophile nuncio, after the nuncio
was taken unconscious, due to excessive alcohol consumption, to a private hospital ((Cedimat) according to reputable accounts of doctors there, and hospital records.
Afterwards the cardinal who had been called to the scene, started an investigation of the nuncio's perverted ways, and uncovered his pedophile and drug habits.
Due to his diplomatic immunity, the only alternative was to dispatch the pedophile nuncio, back to the Vatican, hoping that the scandal would remain silent. But the nuncio's Dominican deacon ally and frequent pimp of young boys, is safely a resident of one of our medieval Dominican jails, awaiting trial.

Take it from me, I heard the story straight from the horses mouth.
Another TV early morning commentator, already made public the news. It's 100% true.

Hazim said it after interviewing the doctor that attended the pervert. The nuncio was so drunk and stoned, that he told the cardinal if OK to administer IV theraphy, to sober him out.
Nicky has his faults, but he is a true patriot, that loves the DR.
