Santo Domingo.– The Santo Domingo Technology Institute (INTEC) presented on Friday an institutional document with proposals for the educational pact, in which it stated that the current financing schemes available to the country's universities are not enough to ensure quality education.

In assessing the Pact as an instrument of consensus about the quality of the educational system, INTEC considers that the financing of higher education must be approached with amplitude in the discussion of the proposal submitted by the Executive branch.

In addition, it states that news mechanisms should be explored, beyond the granting of scholarships and educational credits.
