Medina has 65% re-election support: Poll

Santo Domingo.- If given the chance, most Dominican voters -65 percent- would re-elect president Danilo Medina, says a survey by Greenberg Quinlan Rosner for newspaper Diario Libre.

Around two-thirds of those polled said they’d vote to reelect the President (56%). Less than one third, around 22 percent, say they’d vote for another.

Reelection support

Medina’s potential crosses party lines, so much so that most (51%) of those who voted for Mejia in the 2012 presidential election say they’d vote to reelect Medina.

The survey made with 846 Dominican adults from October 12 to 16 by Washington DC -based Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research, has a margin of error of plus or minus 3%, with a 95% confidence level.
