Weekend: Scattered showers, mild temperatures

Santo Domingo.- The National Weather Office -Onamet- forecasts showers for the north, northwest and central regions during the weekend from an approaching a frontal system expected to affect the entire country.

It issued flash flooding and swelled rivers warnings for Montecristi, Puerto Plata and Espaillat provinces, from the moderate to intense showers.

Onamet said temperatures will range from a low of 21 degrees to a high of 32 degrees Celsius.
