Local man agrees to face drug trafficking charges in US

Santo Domingo.- Another Dominican wanted in extradition by the United States on Monday agreed to leave the country voluntarily to face heroin trafficking charges filed at Pennsylvania Eastern District Court.

José Juan Acosta Then and/or José Uzeta; José Juan; or Ricardo Emanuel González Pérez, 46, went before Supreme Court Criminal Chamber justices Frank Soto, Esther Agelán and Juan Reyes, and stated his willingness to face the accusations in the US.

"I declare that I voluntarily agree to go to America, I was not pressured, physically or psychologically, I consulted with my family my decision to leave voluntarily," Acosta Then said.
