Luis Abinader, the unifier of the Dominican democratic opposition

Santo Domingo.– Citizens for Democracy coordinator Radhames Garcia said that although the movement has not chosen its presidential candidate yet, an internal phenomenon is occurring and it has to do with the fact that many members consider Luis Abinader as the symbol of the opposition Convergence parties, due to his low levels of rejection.

Garcia stressed that most members favor the candidacy of Luis Abinader because they understand that history has made certain men to lead important processes and Dominican history has him right now as an important figure, not only for the Convergence parties but to unite the democratic opposition in the Dominican Republic.
