USAID, Sur Futuro and DPD sign agreement to benefit youth

Santo Domingo.– U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Deputy Director James Wrigh, Sur Futuro Foundation president Melba Segura de Grullon, Dominican Republic’s First Lady Candida Montilla and USAID’s Alerta Joven executive director Saschia Seibel, signed a two-year RD$19 million agreement which will benefit 3,400 children and young people at risk.

The project will include educational support, vocational education, health promotion and HIV prevention, employment, leadership development and life skills that will positively impact the lives of children, adolescents and young people at risk in marginalized communities in SanCristobal, Santo Domingo West and the National District.
