Santo Domingo.– Central Electoral Board (JCE) president Roberto Rosario praised the recent visit of UN secretary general Ban Ki-moon but urged the United Nations to collaborate with the Dominican Government in the foreigner’s naturalization and regularization plan taking place in the country.

Rosario said it would be of great help an economic contribution from the UN to guarantee the future of the regularization plan, which could fail if more resources are not injected.

The JCE president talked about the resources following the signing of an agreementwith Santo Domingo West mayor Francis Peña, which seeks to provide newidentity documents to the residents of that area.
