Dominican-Haitian relations to be discussed at international conference

Santo Domingo.- The conference Hispaniola 2014, about justice, nationality and migration, to be held in Oslo, Norway, will discuss the Dominican-Haitian relations in light of the sentence by the Dominican Constitutional Court of September last year (168/13).

The meeting will also address how Dominican-Haitian relations have been affected by the earthquake in Haiti in 2010. The conference is organized by the University of Oslo (UiO), the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim (NTNU) and the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO).

Hispaniola 2014 will take place on September 18th and 19th at the Blindern Campus of the University of Oslo.
