President Medina to announce new directions of foreign policy

Santo Domingo.– President Danilo Medina will chair on Wednesday a ceremony where the new foreign policy by the of Foreign Affairs Ministry will be launched, an initiative which implies an unprecedented and proactive approach in diplomatic duties abroad.

The meeting, entitled "Dominican Diplomacy Forum" will take place from 5:00 pm at the Ministry’s Conference Room with the attendance of 45 Dominican ambassadors and 43 consuls general overseas. Medina will announce the new direction of diplomatic relations between the Dominican Republic and friendly nations.

The event, to be held from 14 – 16 January, will run through six major panels addressed to ambassadors, consuls general and 20 ministers and general directors of State institutions, who will learn the priorities of the National Development Agenda.
