Dominican ambassador warns on plans to destabilize relations with Haiti

Panama City.– Dominican ambassador in Panama, Cesar Medina, said that the Dominican Republic has to be careful, "since it is clear that there are sectors interested in upsetting relations with Haiti."

In a ceremony held in Panama to mark the 171 anniversary of Dominican Independence, which was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited to the Central American country, Medina said that in situations such as the one recently occurred in the Dominican consulate in Haiti, "we can not discard the maneuvers of power from those who will always want to curb the rights of the weakest."
