Supreme Court chief justice says corruption cannot be forgiven

Santo Domingo.– Supreme Court chief justice Mariano German warned that corruption can not be forgiven, because it is contrary to the basics of social sensitivity.

German explained that when state money is taken, it is affecting public services such as health, and affirmed that the ones who steal cultivate the disease, as well as anti-education and anti development, which cannot be forgiven.

"If you’re going to earn some money, earn it working honestly, but if you’re working for a public office, do no steal what does not belong to you, because it is not yours," the judge pointed out during a talk on ethical behavior, aimed at judges of the judicial departments of the National District and Santo Domingo province.
