Santo Domingo.- The National Weather Office (Onamet) on Monday forecast low chance of rainfall as a mass of dry air from a high pressure system continues over the country.

It forecasts mostly sunny skies with scattered clouds with a chance of widely scattered showers slightly increasing in the afternoon until the night early hours, especially over some central and western provinces.

Onamet adds that high temperatures will continue cross the country during the next 48 hours, with widely scattered showers over the Central Mountains and border area.
