Local, foreign moguls gather in the Dominican Republic

La Romana, Dominican Republic.- President Danilo Medina and Spanish monarch Juan Carlos de Borbon on Thursday inaugurated the 13th "Entrepreneurial Gathering Fathers and Sons," attended by several local and foreign moguls with investment in Dominican Republic.

The moguls Juan Vicini, Gustavo Cisneros, Alfonso (Alfy) Fanjul, Jose (Pepe) Fanjul, Pepin Corripio and Ramon Menendez attended the event held in La Romana, but few details were provided.

A part of the activity the business leaders will host panels, lectures and dialogues on topics such as generational transition in businesses and promoting business initiatives for the region’s sustainable development.

The presence of Mexican magnate Carlos Slim was also announced on Wednesday.
