Mostly sunny over the entire country

Santo Domingo.- The National Weather Office (Onamet) forecasts a low chance of rain for the entire country, despite a trough located in the middle levels of the atmosphere.

It said the northeast, the Central Mountains and southeast can expect widely scattered showers in the afternoon, and mostly sunny for the rest of the country.

Onamet said higher humidity will bring cloudiness over the country in the afternoon and locally moderate downpours, adding that the Northeast, Northwest, Southwest, Central Mountains, rains will begin to fall tomorrow (Thursday).
