Dominicans boo New York City mayor for `meddling´

Bronx, New York.- NewYork City mayor Bill De Blasio was booedby members of the Dominican community, when he greeted a crowd gathered sinceearly Sunday to watch the Bronx Dominican Parade on Grand Concourse Av.

The thunderous boosagainst De Blasio result from his push for Americans to boycott tourism in theDominican Republic, to protest the alleged deportation of Haitians livingillegally in the Caribbean nation and didn’t apply for the legalization program.

Dominicans say DeBlasio meddles in their country`s internal affairs, by pressuring the Dominicangovernment to halt repatriations which have yet to take place.
