The US is the ´money launderer for Dominican drug kingpins´

Popular TVcommentator Rafael Ventura on Wednesday called the U.S. the “money laundererfor Dominican drug kingpins,” in response to the deportation Tuesday of Ramon Antoniodel Rosario Puente (Toño Leña) who served a 5-year sentence in Puerto Rico.

He said del Rosario´sis just one case of several major drug traffickers who’ve entered pleabargaining with U.S prosecutors, citing Quirino Paulino (El Don) and Ernesto B.Guevara Diaz (Maconi), who´ve returned to the country with demands to havetheir confiscated properties returned.

“What the UnitesStates is doing is laundering the money for these drug traffickers because theyare deported there only to be back in three, four or five years as millionaires,”Ventura said on Colorvision Channel 9, in his segment ´Sin Censura´(withoutcensure) adding that they shouldn’t be allowed to enjoy the money “made fromillicit activities.”
