Dominican-born NY senator heads Upper Manhattan push for Clinton

New York.- Dominican-born New York Statesenator Adriano Espaillat and the "Upper Manhattan Democratic Club forChange" on Tuesday opened an office on Sherman Av., where volunteers willmake phone calls and other get-out-the-vote efforts for a Hillary Clinton landslideon election day.

Local leaders including Manhattan Borough presidentGale Brewer, State senator Gustavo Rivera, councilman Ydanis Rodriguez, StateSenate Democratic candidate Marisol Alcantara and Assembly member Carmen de laRosa joined Espaillat and Hillary America campaign director Rodney Capel, in presentingthe democratic platform.

"With less than a month before theelection day, we will work hard every day to elect Hillary, going door to door inUpper Manhattan, making call after call," said Espaillat, who’s expectedto handily win a seat in Congress.
