Top industrialist, ‘country’s owner’ trade ‘dark wealth’ salvos

Santo Domingo.- Transport union boss AntonioMarte on Wednesday responded to Industries Association (AIRD) president Camposde Moya’s statement calling him a "crook" whose "greatfortune" has an unknown origin.

Interviewed on the Z101FM morning program, Martesaid De Moya will have to say that in court. "We will see each other incourt in the coming days. He knows that in court we have him grabbed by thewhiskers. He is so desperate that he has dreamed about confronting me."

He said he’s a transparent man whose wealthcomes from his work. He said he’s not opposed to be investigated and called onCampos de Moya to also explain the origin of his assets.

"I’m not rich like him, but what I haveI have done with work paying my taxes on my businesses. Campos De Moya shouldalso say where his great wealth comes from," said Marte, one of the notoriousunion boss known as the "country’s owners."
