Dominican OAS mission in Washington promotes Duarte’s ideology

Washington DC.- DominicanRepublic’s Permanent Mission to the Organization of American States (OAS) andthe Embassy of Spain in Washington hosted a lecture on "Juan Pablo Duarte’sthoughts, the Dominican Constitution and patriotic values" as part of thefestivities marking the 203rd birthday of the nation’s founder.

Constitutional Court judge WilsonGómez and Dominican Ambassador to the OAS Pedro Verges headed the conference, heldat the Art Museum of the Americas (AMA) in the US capital.

Dominican ambassador Jose TomasPerez, diplomats and consular officials assigned to the United States,representatives of international organizations, of the US government andprofessionals residing in Washington attended the event.
