Courtesy visit: Medina meets with new US DEA regional chief

Santo Domingo.- President Danilo Medina on Tuesday afternoonin the National Palace met with the new US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)regional director for the Caribbean Matthew G. Donahue.

The Presidency said it was a courtesy visit during which theHead of State and the DEA’s new representative in the Caribbean region discussedvarious topics.

Accompanying Donahue during the meeting were new head ofantinarcotics section in the Dominican Republic, Carl A. Shirer and the outgoing,John Kanig.
