Trough brings scattered showers, thunderstorms

Santo Domingo.- The National Weather Office (Onamet) on Fridayforecasts cloudy skies but little chance of rain, except for some local showers in the afternoon and evening, from anupper level trough.

It said the central and western provinces can expect thunderstormstoday and into the weekend, with occasional showers isolated mainly in theafternoon and early evening hours to the northeast, southeast, northwest andCentral Mountains.

Onamet forecasts temperatures ranging from a high of 33°C, toa low of 21°C.
