Freighter sinks off Puerto Plata, fate of crew unknown

Puerto Plata.- A freighterloaded with fruit sank off the point of La Puntilla, northern Puerto Plata provinceWednesday morning.

The fate of the crew and the cause of the shipwreck have yetto be revealed.

The boar was identified as El Libertador.
