Cabarete, Puerto Plata.- Not to be outdone by the international guests in the Cabarete Jazz Fest, the Dominican performers such as the percussionists Titico Carrion and Felle Vega showed why the local jazz scene has come of age.

Not to mention David Valentin, Luis "Perico" Otiz, etc., plus El Prodigio, Rafa Rosario y "El Canario"!?!? Those who missed it missed it, that's all I can say. MAC
P.S. AnthonyC -- I'm sure if the possibility existed to bring back the Ramones, the would rock out on Cabarete Beach. But as a true lover of music, don't knock jazzfest 'till you've tried it.
