Marichal thanked the Metro Country Club for its continuous support of the golf match, which raised RD$1.7 million last year, donated to the foundation Learning To Live.

Metro group president Luis Jose Asilis thanked Marichal for giving them the opportunity once again host event, which he said not only counts on the participation of the Dominican the golf community, but also of other sport personalities, who always lend a hand for those causes of corporate responsibility, together with Marichal’s family.

The Juan Marichal CLASSIC, because of one man who has donated his life to help and support these children, it has to be one of the most appreciated efforts of people to support and to donate to, this charity, the support and goodwill both by the Metro country club and all the people associated with it,
They have had many golf tournaments to raise as much as possible to help the sick, as everybody knows it’s up to all of us if we can to support these worthy causes.
I have been at many of them and I can say that the amount of effort which everybody has put into the charity its incredible how people really want to help, especially from the President elect and all his team, also from the sponsors and golfers, they need as much support as possible, its great to see that every year a little more donation is received, so if we can think of the kids and the effort of one super dedicated sport person Juan Marichal without him imagine,Keep up the good work ,Remember the kids
