Santo Domingo.- Antena Latina Films announced the gala premier and arrival in theaters of the film “3 Al Rescate” (3 to the rescue), the first animated production in 3D made in the Dominican Republic.

Antena Latina Films director Alfonso Rodriguez said the first of two debuts will be in Santo Domingo on January 4  in the Diamond Mall cinema and a showing the following day in the Cinema Centro Cibao on the 5th, for special guests.

It will be followed with showings in all theaters in the Dominican Republic staring January 6.

Rodriguez said “3 Al Rescate” the film was made in the Raycast studios, with leading edge digital animation technology  

The voices are the recognized performers Kenny Grullón, Roger Zayas, Cuquín Victory, Luis Jose German, Jose Guillermo Cortines, Frank Perozo, Irvin Alberti, Carolina Rivas, Panky Saviñón, Antonio Melenciano, Giovanna Bonnelly, Tony Rojas and Dominique Bonnelly.

Great accomplishment for the Dominican Film Industry and 3D animation. I hope to see this movie in DR or hopefully here in NYC. They should screen the movie here as well.

You'll have to let us know if this is going to hold the interest of anyone over 10 after you see it. I don't mind animated films, there have been some pretty good ones lately, but this looks like it is only for the ninos

If Walt Disney Productions were smart...they should scoop up this great opportunity to do something globally significant. As a matter of fact,The Cartoon Network and Nicktoons should really get involved.
