NEW ORLEANS. - The New Orleans 2010 Jazz Festival kicks off in 30 days and for the first time will feature Dominican music icon Juan Luis Guerra.

“Every year we try to have more and this year everything came together and went through,” said the Festival’s producer Quint Davis in a press conference Tuesday.

He said to have added the Dominican singer was something exceptional. “This moment is a signal to the Hispanic community that finally at the forefront. He’s is a very significant and important artist, he’s among the best in Latin music and culture."

Guerra and his group 440 have sold more than 20 million records and have won 9 Latin Grammies, two Grammies and two Latin Billboard awards.

Jazz Fest is Americas best annual music festival and a great event I hope the fans like him he will be with some of the best musicians and fans that exist
