Santo Domingo. – The 18th edition of Dominican Week in the United States on Wednesday recognized six outstanding Dominican lawyers and judges in New York’s Judiciary.
It also hailed the efforts by the outstanding Dominican researcher and higher learning professional doctor Ramona Hernandez.
The recognitions were handed out in the offices of the New York Commissioner of Culture, where Constitutional expert Daniel Beltre dictated the conference “Dominican Republic’s Constitution and its impact in the consolidation of the Justice System,” while Justice minister Radhamés Jimenez spoke on “Constitutional Design and the Justice Ministry’s Challenges in the Dominican Republic.”
Kudos also went to New York educators and attorneys of Dominican origin Ramona E. Romero, Joseline Peña, Fiordaliza A. Rodriguez, Amelia Perez Valdez and Josefina Fernandez, and judge Rolando T. Acosta.
