SD. The ice cream maker Bon launched a campaign to protect the endangered migratory song bird Bicknell's Thrush (Catharus bicknelli), (Zorzal de Bicknell), which travels every winter from northern New York, Vermont and southeastern Canada to the protected areas Loma Quita Espuela near the northeast city San Francisco, the southwest Bahoruco Range, and the Central Mountains.

Bon president Jesus Moreno unveiled the ecological project that involves seven local organizations in the Restaurant Cane on Monday, including the organization Vermont Ecostudies, represented by Chris Rimmer.

Moreno said to support this species, Bon recently introduced the new ice cream flavor Choco-Maple, inspired in the bird’s conservation stays much longer in the country than in North America.
