SD. Today, March 23, marks six years since the late Avishai Harel and his family founded Dominican Today.
His love of this country inspired him to form a team of writers and technicians to start the country's first, true English language, online newspaper.
We thank our readers for trusting us to deliver timely information in a concise manner since 2005.

Happy birthday!
Thank you very much for providing this forum for Dominicans at home and abroad, and those interested in our country by choice, to keep abreast of some news, exchange ideas.
Before your next birthday, and preferrably by next month [today simply could not be too soon!!!!], please implement an adequate filter to permanently keep away dreaded and despised Asian peddlers, who pester us daily with their useless wear. They seem to be hijacking this site for their own business interest.
Contributors, please do not accord Asian peddlers any interest.
Thanks in advance.

Being linguistically challenged, DT has been my godsend in Dominican news and opinion. Anyone here who wishes to negative rate anyone on this thread is simply a shallow person.
To the Dannys. Rickys, Bluts..Joseans and others...your opinions are always welcome reading and although we tend to disagree at times...this is what an open forum is all about.
Thanks DT!
