NY.- Santiago Cerón, the first internationally known Dominican salsa singer, passed away of a heart attack in New York City today.

According to Facebook its in, Cerón, born July 25, 1940, in Santo Domingo began his career as a singer Dominican Republic, as an amateur in the television company La Voz Dominicana. He was 70.
