174 families benefit from AES Dominicana’s contribution

Santo Domingo. - AES Dominicana, in coordination and collaboration with the Boca Chica City Council and the Water and the Santo Domingo Sewage Systems Agency (CAASD), broke ground to install 320 meters of pipes to supply drinking water to 174 families in community Brisas de Caucedo Sur, in Andres Boca Chica.

"It’s a grand gesture from AES Dominicana to this community to assist with this need as basic as drinking water," said Boca Chica Mayor Daniel Ozuna, who took part in the work’s groundbreaking,  

Also present were Boca Chica Deputy Mayor Amada Castro, Mr. Benjamin Villalobos, AES Andres Production Director, and board members of the Brisas de Caucedo Sur neighborhood board.

The community projects form part of AES Dominicana’s Corporate Social Responsibility programs, and as part of its commitment to contribute positively to every community where its power plants operate.
