In a series of new posts on her official blog, Kim Kardashian reflects on some of her favorite parts of 2012. So what was one of her favorite moments? Well, let's just say that Kim cherishes her family vacations more than just about anything.

Kim announced her 10 favorite moments of the year this weekend, and here is what she had to say about the trip she took with her sisters and other family members to the Dominican Republic:

"This year has been an absolutely incredible one, and for the next 10 days I’m going to be counting down my 10 best moments of 2012, starting today with our amazing family trip to The Dominican Republic. I treasure our family vacations and this year’s was one of the best yet! See all my vacation snaps in the gallery."

She may have an empty head but she can influence millions of people. Whenever a particular client of mine publishes an article about her it get's about 1.2 million reads in two weeks. In comparison, an average article gets 300 thousand reads in that same time period, they're all celebrity related.

Even when is coming from a Kardashian its still great press for the DR.

For us to appreciate more the intellectual conversations we need to have celebrities like her.
