Santo Domingo.- The American Chamber of Commerce, AMCHAMDR, through its Business Social Responsibility Committee, and the Foundation Inter American (FIA), activated their donations plan on Friday with the delivery of resources pertaining all joint Fund allocated to support projects of the Community Development Program, selected in 2011 for execution this year.

Disbursed in the activity held Friday morning in the American Chamber of Commerce were US$32,000, with matching funds of US$50,000.

The beneficiaries form part of the Basic Community Organizations (OCB) and non-governmental Organizations (NGO) who submitted requests for technical and financial support to start projects to spur sustainable economic development in their communities.
