SOSUA, Dom. Rep - The city council of the tourist town of Sosúa, in Puerto Plata province, announced several measures to prevent excess of political and commercial advertizing.
Sosua mayor Ilana Neumann said the effort aims to keep the eyesores from affecting the city’s image as a resort region and to protect the community environmental patrimony.

This is great for Sosua! The same resolution should be enacted all over the nation. If you're running for another term, you've got my vote, Llana!
I don't have a problem with the occasional political billboard, summarizing policies. So far all I've seen are expensive, digitally-enhanced mug-shots with a nick-name and a party logo, and the occasional meaningless slogan.
"Llana is a vulture.... She caters to the rich.... She wants to change Sosua... "
Exactly the kind of person we need in government! The status quo isn't working, so let's change it!
Llana, I'd like to volunteer in your next run for office!
And what do you mean: " She wants to get rid of Charamicos and Sosua Abajo...." How is that possible when it comprises part of greater Sosua?
"She wants to build luxruy condos and homes that only the really weathly (outsiders) could afford to buy"
She should build massive slums for the non-working poor to live and breed in.
