Santo Domingo.- Sharin is the newest Pop Ballad musical discovery, as her Wednesday night performance in Santo Domingo Hard Rock Cafe left no doubt.
The young artist’s 6-song mini-concert showcased her talent for the Dominican press, friends and family, treated to a show only a Berklee student can muster, accompanied by drums, two guitars and bass.
She performed songs in English, Spanish and Portuguese which form part of Sharin’s first production, and the single "LOVE,” to debut in national radio and whose video on YouTube drew over 27,000 views in just two weeks.
Songs like "Easy", "Without You" and "Over You" are already available on I-Tunes, as well as the rest of the production.
"I feel very proud to sing for Dominicans, for the press knows me, so I can perform my music as who I am, this is a dream I’ve had since childhood and thank God I'm living it," the artist told reporters.
Ranked among the most promising from Berklee College of Music, Sharin has over 44,500 views on YouTube's cover with the song "I Believe in You"
Born in Tampa, Florida to Dominican parents, the singer performs a range of Country Pop and R & B music style, “but which convey a message of peace.”
After her local performances, the artist said she’ll return to the United States to continue working on her album and new songs.
