Vice president treats orphaned kids to Christmas lunch

SD. Some 500 kids andyoungsters orphaned by femicides, covered by the vulnerable child protectionprograms, on Tuesday were treated to a traditional Christmas lunch hosted byvice president Margarita Cedeño.

Cedeño, in the activityheld in the courtyard of the Dominican Republic Children and Youth Library(BIJRD), personally served the meals to shoe shine boys, windshield cleanersand other vulnerable boys and girls.

The event featuredartistic performances and a show by kiddy show host Alambrito, with clowns,confetti and tasty treats.
