Local think tank among LatAm´s best a second straight year

Santo Domingo.- TheGlobal Foundation for Democracy and Development (FUNGLODE) was selected among Centraland South America´s top think tanks for the second consecutive year in theGlobal Go To Think Tank Index Report.

In the prestigious rankingof the world´s best think tanks for 2015, Funglode also joined the list ofleaders in the categories for Foreign Policy and International Affairs,Environment and the Use of Social Networks.

The Program Think Tanksand Civil Society Institute Lauder (TTCSP) from the University of Pennsylvania,each year presents the index values, released Wednesday in around 50 countriesand 70 cities.

The report notes thatof the world 6,846 think tanks, 1,931 are in North America; 1,770 in Europe;1,262 in Asia; 774 in Central and South America; 615 in sub-Saharan Africa; 398Middle and North Africa, and 96 in Oceania.
