“Murals Engage Rep Dom” unveils mural in San Luis Community

Santo Domingo.- The US Embassy in Santo Domingo, with the support of Meridian International and Centro Leon, unveiled the second mural included in the Murals Engage program, this time on the wall of the Higher Technical Institute in the San Luis community.

During the ceremony US Embassy chief of staff Patrick Dunn spoke about the importance of these projects for the embassy and the bonds that are created between our peoples through art and community collaboration.

American artist Paul Santoleri, who worked with the students and community members in the mural inspired by the empowerment of women, said to be grateful to be part of the Murals Engage program in the Dominican Republic.
