Bavaro. - The Punta Cana Foundation conducted the program `Think on it well, baby’, in the Ann & Ted Kheel Polytechnic, aimed at creating awareness on pregnancy in young girls.
In the program participated 240 girl high school students, aged from 12 to 17.
“We feel that ignorance and the lack of guidance are some of the serious problems youngsters face nowadays, that’s the reason for our concern to maintaining prevention and assistance programs directed to the youth,” said Punta Cana Foundation director Paul Beswick.
As part of the program the students are given for three days a toy baby, programmed to behave similarly to a real, for the young girls to experience the care of an offspring and realize that it’s a great responsibility, contributing to prevent adolescent pregnancies.

Keeps showing their good side and hey i my just move there soon.
Sex is a release for these young chicas just like anybody else when the trials of life seem overwhelming . That is why the Cubans say '' sex is the only thing that Castro cant ration ''. Sadly, desperation coupled with passionate desire seems to know nothing of consequenses or the education once recieved . You better be able to offer these children something better than the future they have to look forward to now if you expect them to keep thier legs closed and thier bibles open . MAY THE LORD JESUS CHRIST RETURN SOON AND MAY THESE YOUNG WOMEN DISCOVER AND RECIEVE HIS LOVE IN THIER POVERTY...
But Paula, the anti-abortionists will become upset with you. They don't want you to educate people. If unwanted pregnancy becomes reduced, there will be nobody to replace the anti-abortionists through attrition. We must keep these youth in the dark mushroom farms so they will continue to reproduce. What exactly does the "programming of sexual morals entail"? Is this abstinence? If so, that's good. It's like telling someone not to eat and expecting them to go hungry indefinitely. Some people, in this word, would in fact do this I am certain. If it is in fact an attainable realistic goal, then continue to do good and reduce the # of unwanted pregnancies. People cannot throw in the towel, I guess.
