Dajabon, Dominican Republic.- Border Solidarity and the Jesuit Service for Refugees and Migrants (SJRM) celebrated its 10 years of work on June 29, in Ouanaminthe, Haiti

On that date in 1999 the Jesuit Service for Refugees(SJR) was officially created, after already being instituted in Dominican Republic since 1996.

Border Solidarity’s mission is “to accompany, defend and serve those who had to flee from their homes for reasons of conflict, humanitarian disaster or the violations of human rights whether they are refugees or displaced.”
