Pedernales, Dominican Republic. - The projects and plans to develop the Dominican-Haiti border are exclusive topics of the Dominican Republic and Haiti and not of the United States, its ambassador Raul Yzaguirre affirmed Thursday.

During a visit with catholic priests, business and community leaders, and military and civilian authorities of the border province, the diplomat said his country provides only economic contributions, technical assistance and ideas

In Anse Pitre, Haiti, Ysaguirre visited the Textile Factory Codevi, and the offices of the UN, IMO and Unicef, whereas on the Dominican side, the diplomat visited the Border Security Corps (Cesfront) post, accompanied by senior Army officers.
