Miami.– A 66-year-old
American, who operated on orphanage in Haiti, has been arrested on
charges of sexually abusing boys he sheltered, US prosecutors say.
According to press reports, Matthew Andrew Carter was charged with forcing at least eight boys
to perform sexual acts in exchange for food, shelter and schooling.
Carter, a resident of Brighton, Michigan, has been running the
Morning Star Center at various sites in Port-au-Prince since the
mid-1990s. He was arrested in Miami on May 8 and entered a plea of not guilty
to four charges of child sex tourism, or traveling to engage in illicit
sex with minors.
If convicted, Carter could receive a sentence of up to 105 years in prison.

Sad one has to ask where's their parents ? After all it takes a male and female to produce each Child.
In the DR also like so many other Country's, Men's failure to take responsibility.
The world needs MEN more then ever.....Men to become Fathers to their Children, Men to become Husbands to their Wife's, Men to become head of the house hold, Men to to take responsibility, Men to lead by example, Father's to teach their Sons how to become Men for with it also comes respect towards Women who in turn become Wife's and Mothers.
Sadly the world lacks real MEN.

Haiti is deforested but has no deserts.
The dress codes, the soil, the hairdos all scream Africa.

Good thing in the U.S we have Meagan's law, mandatory convicted sex offenders registration, full back ground checks for those applying for any jobs that deal with children, programs like "good touch, bad touch", street smarts program, enhanced sentences for sexual crimes against children etc..etc.. in place to protect our children.
