Santo Domingo.- The British Chamber of Commerce of the Dominican Republic delivered hundreds of school supplies for students gathered in the Foundation Abriendo Camino, aimed at  more than 250 children of the barrio Villas Agricolas, so they can continue their elementary and middle education.

The activity, carried out for the fifth straight year, was headed by the committee  of spouses of British Chamber of Commerce leaders, represented by Ivette Matos de Peña, as well as by representatives of donor companies, among them Marielle Pellerano and Maria del Pilar Diaz, of Autobritanica, Victor Hilario of Popular bank, and Chamber executive director Mayra Torres.

Handed  out in the activity held in the Foundation were backpacks, notebooks, rough drafts, pencil sharpeners, rules, reams of paper, folders, coloring and regular pencils, dictionaries, triangle sets, compass, story books in Spanish, fine cardboard were given, among other important scholastic tools.

Very nice. I do the same, hopefully i can help out more.
I wish there wasnt so much need for so much help and the government could be some what reasonable with the dedication and help education needs in our country!!

With so much need, many other schools can also benefit if you're willing to spend the time, si?
