Help us build a medical clinic for the poor people of the Dominican Republic

Dear friends:

Not long ago, we’ve sent you an email regarding a new medical clinic the Batey Relief Alliance is building to deliver critical health and HIV/AIDS services to the impoverished people of the Dominican Republic. Click here to see construction in progress.

Our current medical center, located inside batey Cinco Casas in the province of Monte Plata, is over capacitated as the number of patients reached last year 40,000. The new clinic will raise our capacity to provide affordable services to an additional 20,000 people who are poor and unable to afford basic health services for exorbitant fees.

Our organization is kicking off a fundraising campaign starting July 7th to raise $25,000. The total cost for the construction project is $100,000. The Lions Clubs International Foundation and other donors have already pledged $75,000.

Please join us in this important cause by making a tax-deductible contribution of $100 or more. You may send us a check payable to Batey Relief Alliance, at P.O. Box 300565, Brooklyn, N.Y. 11230 or simply click on our website at www.bateyrelief.org at make an online contribution. Please designate your gift to "Clinic Building Fund".

We thank you in advance for your continued support.
