Santo Domingo.– David Ortiz's support through his Celebrity Golf Tournament,  December 4th-7th, will help raising funds for children in New England and the Dominican Republic who need pediatric care in order to live full and productive lives.

Guests will be supporting an important cause while enjoying luxurious five star amenities in the world's newest luxury destination in the heart of the Caribbean at Sanctuary Cap Cana golf and spa.

"We're proud to host the inaugural David Ortiz Celebrity Golf Classic at our Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course, Punta Espada Golf Club, one of Golf Digest's Top 100 Greatest Courses outside the United States with eight holes that play along the ocean," said Sam Logan, General Manager of Punta Espada Golf Club, a Troon Golf Facility.

"This fund-raising event gives us the opportunity to have my team mates, friends and corporate sponsors from the world of sports and entertainment, join us in our efforts to raise funds for this cause while experiencing my beloved home country, the Dominican Republic," said David Ortiz.

Jacirez I can see it now ...you and your eskimo friends around the fire place and them begging you to tell stories of the Christmas winds that blew through your youth as you were running down the beach drinking rum out of a coconut and yelling the last one in is a rotten egg.....How is that for cruel ?
