let us hope this tourney reaches a national television audience....for if it does....it will be worth more than tourisms budget....the D.R. will have an opportunity to shine like never before...in the eyes of our most important growing market, that is ....UP UP UP MARKET....and you know what they say?...thats where the money is

The tournament can be seen on the Golf Channel..

The marketing budget for golf at cap cana is well over 1.7 million a year

This will really promote Cap Cana and the Dr to a large audience of serious golfers and buyers

Sitting here in the marina at Cap Cana, I can tell you that the resort is nowhere near ready for this tournement. Not enough rooms for the tournement participants and wives as well as support staff for the event. Someone screwed the pooch on this one. People are working fevorishly thru the night just to get a couple of bars and restaraunts alone open.

The courses look nice... it's the physical needs that are a little lacking. I think they are a year too early for a Nationally televised event. This is my first visit to CapCana (via yacht) and I see great things here in the future. But for the investor, there is one serious problem. No grocery stores anywhere near the resort and certainly lacking ANYTHING that I would put on my dining table. Someone needs to get Publix or Winn-Dixie down here to open at supermarket worthy of the money and influence being sought by the developers.
